Excitement is building at GG♥SF HQ as Kapow! is now only a couple of months away. The latest titbit of drip-fed information about the event (apparently, there’s more to come on Mon 14 Feb), are the nominations for the event’s inaugural award ceremony – dedicated to comic book icon and living Marvel (haha, see what we did there?), Stan Lee.

Luminaries from the world of comic books and film such as Seth Rogen (Green Hornet, Superbad, Knocked Up), Clark Duke (Kick-Ass, Hot Tub Time Machine), Empire writer Chris Hewitt, SciFiNow’s Samuel Roberts, Comic Heroes’ Jes Bickham, Robbie Collin from News of the World, and co-creator and writer of Lost and producer of Star Trek, Damon Lindelof were among those asked to submit nominations for the awards.

Nominations will be open until Fri 4th March and the winners will be announced at The Stan Lee Awards ceremony on Sat 9th April. A full list of nominees is below; visit the official Kapow! website to cast your vote.
